Terms of service

1. About Us and Scope of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale of goods by Hydrava to consumers through our online store at hydravastore.myshopify.com. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy (each incorporated by reference).

Seller details:

  • Trading name: Hydrava
  • Email: contact@Hydrava.shop
  • Telephone: +447931081959
  • Registered address: 565 Manchester Road, Manchester, M27 9QL, United Kingdom

These Terms apply to consumer contracts only (sales to individuals acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession). If you are purchasing as a business, different terms may apply; please contact us before ordering.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order will govern that contract. We recommend you download or print a copy for your records.

2. How the Contract Is Formed (Order Process)

The ordering process is as follows:

  1. Placing your order: You select goods and add them to your basket, then proceed to checkout. You will be asked to provide delivery and payment details and to confirm your order.
  2. Your order is an offer to buy: When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods on these Terms. Your order constitutes an offer; it is not yet accepted by us.
  3. Order acknowledgement: You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement does not constitute our acceptance of your offer; it is simply confirmation that we have received it.
  4. Acceptance and contract formation: A legally binding contract between you and Hydrava comes into existence only when we dispatch the goods to you and send you a dispatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (for example, if a product is listed at an incorrect price, is out of stock, or if we are unable to verify your payment details) before acceptance.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you by email and will not charge you. If payment has already been taken, we will refund you in full as soon as reasonably practicable.

When you place an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age (or, if under 18, that you have parental or guardian consent);
  • All information you provide (including delivery address, contact details and payment information) is accurate, complete and not misleading;
  • You are authorised to use the payment method you provide.

We may contact you by email or telephone if we require any clarification or additional information in connection with your order.

3. Prices and Delivery Charges

3.1 Prices

All prices displayed on our website are in United States Dollars (USD) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable UK rate, unless otherwise stated. The price payable is the price shown on our website at the time you place your order, subject to clause 3.3 below.

We take care to ensure that all prices are accurate, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible. You will then have the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If you cancel (or if we are unable to contact you using the details you provided), the contract will not be formed and we will refund any sums you have paid.

3.2 Delivery Charges

Delivery within the United Kingdom is FREE of charge. There are no delivery or shipping costs for orders shipped to addresses in the UK.

For deliveries to addresses outside the United Kingdom, please contact us at contact@Hydrava.shop before placing your order to confirm whether we can deliver to your location and to agree any applicable charges. Please note that international orders may be subject to import duties, customs charges or taxes imposed by the destination country; these are your responsibility and are not included in the price or collected by us. You should make appropriate enquiries about such charges before ordering.

3.3 Right to Vary Prices

We reserve the right to alter our prices at any time, but such changes will not affect orders already accepted by us (that is, orders for which we have sent you a dispatch confirmation).

4. Payment

Payment for all goods and any applicable delivery charges (if shipping outside the UK) must be made in full at the time you place your order. We accept the following payment methods, as displayed at checkout: major credit and debit cards and such other methods as we make available from time to time.

Payment is processed securely by our payment service provider. We do not store your full card details. By providing your payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method and that there are sufficient funds or credit available to cover the purchase.

Your order will only be processed once payment has been successfully authorised and received in full. If payment cannot be completed or is declined, we will contact you and may cancel your order. We reserve the right to carry out credit and fraud-screening checks and to refuse any order if such checks are not satisfactory to us.

Title (ownership) in the goods passes to you when we receive full payment and the goods have been delivered to you. Risk in the goods (that is, responsibility for loss or damage) passes to you upon delivery in accordance with clause 5.4 below.

5. Delivery and Timescales

5.1 Delivery Area

We deliver primarily to addresses within the United Kingdom. For international orders, please contact us at contact@Hydrava.shop to confirm availability and terms before placing your order.

5.2 Estimated Delivery Time

We aim to deliver your order within 3–5 working days from the date of our dispatch confirmation email. This is an estimated timescale; delivery times may vary depending on the delivery address and the courier's workload.

"Working days" means Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. If you place your order on a Friday, weekend or public holiday, processing will commence on the next working day.

5.3 Delay in Delivery

If delivery is delayed beyond the estimated timescale, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if we fail to deliver the goods by any agreed delivery date (or, where no specific date is agreed, without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of the date of the contract), you may treat the contract as at an end and obtain a full refund. If you wish to exercise this right, please contact us at contact@Hydrava.shop.

We will not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (see clause 8.5).

5.4 Delivery and Acceptance

Delivery will be to the address you specify in your order. Please ensure your delivery address is correct. You or a nominated recipient must be available to accept delivery. If no one is available, the courier may leave a card with instructions; additional delivery charges may apply for re-delivery.

Upon delivery, risk in the goods (responsibility for loss or damage) passes to you. You should inspect the goods upon receipt. If the packaging is visibly damaged, please note this with the courier and inform us immediately at contact@Hydrava.shop. If goods are missing or damaged in transit, please also notify us within 48 hours.

If you fail to take delivery of the goods within a reasonable time (for example, if you fail to respond to a delivery card or to collect from a local depot), we may contact you to arrange re-delivery or, if we are unable to contact you, we may cancel the contract and charge you our reasonable costs of attempting delivery.

6. Your Right to Cancel (Statutory Withdrawal)

As a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days without giving any reason. This is your statutory right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

6.1 Cancellation Period

The 14-day cancellation period begins on the day after you (or a third party nominated by you, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If your order consists of multiple goods delivered separately, the period begins on the day you (or your nominee) receive the last item.

6.2 How to Cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example, by email to contact@Hydrava.shop or by post to 565 Manchester Road, Manchester, M27 9QL, United Kingdom, or by telephone to +447931081959).

You may use our standard cancellation form if you wish (available on request), but you are not obliged to do so. If you notify us by email, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your cancellation by email without undue delay.

To meet the 14-day cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification before the 14-day period expires.

6.3 Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel the contract within the statutory period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (if any was charged; for UK orders, delivery is free). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and, in any event, no later than:

  • 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied; or
  • If earlier, 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods.

We will make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.

6.4 Returning the Goods

You must return the goods to us (or hand them over to us or to a person authorised by us to receive them) without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period expires.

Please return goods to: 565 Manchester Road, Manchester, M27 9QL, United Kingdom.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed to collect them or have failed to inform you that you must bear the return cost (in which case we will bear it). For UK returns, reasonable direct return costs are typically modest; please retain proof of postage.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning (for example, beyond the sort of handling that might reasonably be allowed in a shop). If goods are returned damaged or not in a resaleable condition due to excessive handling, we reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount from your refund to reflect the diminished value.

6.5 Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

Your statutory right to cancel does not apply to contracts for goods which, by their nature, cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or which have been personalised or made to your specification. If any such exceptions apply to products in your order, this will be clearly indicated on the product page or at checkout.

For full details of your statutory cancellation rights and how to return goods, please also refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

7. Voluntary Extended Return Period (Contractual Goodwill Policy)

In addition to your statutory 14-day cancellation right set out above, Hydrava offers you a voluntary extended return window of 30 days from delivery as a matter of contractual goodwill. This is not a statutory right, but a benefit we choose to provide.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return the goods within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the following conditions:

  • You must notify us of your intention to return the goods by contacting us at contact@Hydrava.shop within the 30-day period.
  • Goods must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging, with all labels and tags attached.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return postage (unless the goods are faulty or not as described, in which case clause 8 applies).
  • We will refund the purchase price (including any delivery charge, if applicable) once we have received and inspected the returned goods, provided they are in a resaleable condition.
  • Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of our receipt of the goods and will be made using the same payment method you used for your order.

This voluntary 30-day return period is in addition to, and does not replace or reduce, your statutory rights under clause 6 and clause 8. If you return goods within the first 14 days, you are exercising your statutory cancellation right; if you return goods between day 15 and day 30, you are relying on this voluntary extended policy.

We reserve the right to modify or withdraw this voluntary extended return period at any time (any such change will not affect contracts already entered into).

8. Faulty Goods and Your Statutory Rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these Terms. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If goods are faulty or not as described, you have legal rights and remedies.

8.1 Initial Right to Reject (First 30 Days)

If goods are faulty or do not conform to the contract (for example, they are not as described or not of satisfactory quality), you have a right to reject them and receive a full refund if you notify us within 30 days of receipt. To exercise this right, please contact us at contact@Hydrava.shop as soon as you discover the problem.

8.2 Right to Repair or Replacement

If you notify us of a fault after 30 days (or if you do not wish to reject the goods), you may request that we repair or replace the goods. We will do so within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, and we will bear any necessary costs (including return postage). If a repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, or if we fail to repair or replace the goods within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction or (as a last resort) to reject the goods and receive a refund.

8.3 Right to Price Reduction or Final Right to Reject

If, after one repair or replacement (or if repair or replacement is impossible, not done within a reasonable time, or causes you significant inconvenience), the goods still do not conform to the contract, you are entitled to claim a price reduction or to reject the goods and obtain a refund (the final right to reject). Any refund may be reduced to reflect your use of the goods since delivery.

8.4 Notifying Us and Returning Faulty Goods

If you believe goods are faulty or do not conform, please contact us immediately at contact@Hydrava.shop, providing details and (where
